Windshield crack

With the sun out bright today I noticed what looks like a crack in the windshield.

You only see it with bright sun light at certain angle while sitting in the truck. It's approx quarter inch long.

I checked it from the outside and see nothing. No rock chip.

Not sure what to think of this...if I should take it to the dealer.

How do they fill a crack without a chip?

Can you feel anything when you run your finger nail over it? Could it be on the inside of the windshield?

Also, try cleaning your windshield inside and outside.

If ever you need to replace your windshield, spring for the double laminated version used in the Lariat. It will reduce noise.

Ford warranty covers windshield stress cracks up to 20k km. Mine cracked at 24k when I was parked in it at the mall.

I have a small hairline crack along the passenger bottom corner area. It is from the inside. I will get it fixed next month. Not concerned about this being a Maverick only thing. Had this issue with my 2006 Scion XB. I will see if they will replace it with the Lariat version.

Seriously get the jewelers magnifying lens an check for itsy bitsy tinee tiny chip, mabey just the crack AT THE SURFACE?
