My EGR vent visors didn’t work, windows got stuck closed, returning them. Bummer..
Same here. EGR in-channel visors and the windows got stuck. Had to push down on window to help get unstuck. Too much binding so I returned it. Also, the visors looked weirdly brownish under direct sunlight. I think mine were defective. It didn't look good.
As I have never owned a truck before, what is the advantage to having these?
You can crack the windows open and not have violent wind blowing around. Cuts down or eliminates "wind buffeting". Wind buffeting is kind of bad on the Maverick, I always had to open another window. Also I think it cuts down on wind noise too.

You guys got me scared now. Hope they work. I just went out and put my index finger in the channel. About a 1/2 inch clearance. Should not bind at all.

They work perfectly fine if you install them correctly...

They have a good return policy. They even refunded me shipping to return since they were defective.

Anything you install correctly works perfectly fine. The question is just how hard to install one? I was going to get this one, but people having issues with closing/opening steered me clear of the EDR visor. I rather stick one on, just to not deal with the window operation issues.

They are not hard to install but they could be a little finicky trying to seat them in properly. The stick-on visors are fine but they don't look nice (to Me) because they basically look tacked on. Whatever looks good to you will be perfectly fine.

I'd recommend getting WellVisors for stick on visors. The quality is great and they look sleek. I'm happy with them.

Did you follow the instructions and leave the windows up for 24-48 hours??? Mine stuck a little but after 48 hours they work great.
My experience was exactly the same. Once the windows are up and the sun heats them up they mold perfectly and the windows will go up and down without issues. I've had mine for about 2 weeks now. I really like them, though I did peel off those lame looking EGR logo's.

Yeah I hate the massive logos those sometimes have. Anyone get a non-glossy flat mat grey/black yet? My first set was problematic ( first time install past trucks ) but a super hot day with windows closed tight did seem to fix it by itself.

I was just looking at these yesterday. Is the fit as good as it shows in the pics? The rear visors seems to go all the way to the rear of the door frame unlike the EGR brand. Do they have a bit of blue tint to them too?

The fit is perfect and quality is great. They do cover the top of the door frame and go all the way to the rear door frame. They do have a slight blue tint to them under direct light. Close up pictures on Amazon is accurate. It shows a blueish-purplish color. The EGR visors had a brownish tint to them if you want to compare.

I noticed on the Wellvisor website they mention both 3M tape and clip-ons used for installation. And the install video shows adding protective tape where the clip-ons would contact the door. From their pics it looks like the clip-ons are just small extensions on top of visor, are they used just for alignment at top of door or do they actually clip unto top of door?

Additionally, any pics you have of them installed on your Mav would be great! TIA
