Window Sticker Says 'CONVOY'

Today my Mav updated to 'BUILT' with an estimated delivery date of 3/18 - 3/25. My window sticker says 'CONVOY' which I assume means it will ship via transport truck. With FORD having ended their contract with Jack Cooper, does anyone know what other transport companies FORD uses?

Ford uses both railroad and truck transport (convoy). Your Mav will go by rail to a railhead and the shipped by truck to your dealer. For example, my dealer is Granger Ford (by Des Moines, IA). The Mav will be shipped by rail to Kansas Cit, MO. From Kansas City, the Mav will be shipped by truck to Granger, IA.

Most of the big auto haulers went away 15 years ago. In California our vehicles ended up being delivered by independents.

My Sticker said Convoy. My Lariat Final Destination was South Florida. No way Ford trucked my Mav from Mexico to South Fla by truck. My bet is it was shipped by rail from Mexico to rail head in Arizona Junction then Across the train Rails that follow along I-10 interstate to Jacksonville Rail Head and then rail down to Rail Head to Miami (Medley Rail Head), then Off loaded to Cattle car for convoy to My Dealer. Might be wrong on various rail Heads but would bet a beer on how it actually went from Mexico Plant to SOuth Fla.

My window sticker said "RAIL" even though it went by truck for the last leg of the journey and after the 3-week wait in the railyard at KC.
