Wind noise while driving

UPDATE. Using advice found on another forum thread, my whistle sound seems to be resolved, The dealer replaced the rubber seal around the drivers door window. I think it is technically called the “window run”. Anyway, the seal looked perfect but was faulty, and a new seal seems to have eliminated the whistle noise that nobody could isolate.

Posting this solution because I feel like many of these threads fade into the sunset with no resolution at the end. If anyone finds this in the future, here you go. Try having the window run replaced and that might be your ticket. FYI.

I own a '24 Maverick Hybrid purchased October 2024. I hear a lot of wind noise in the cab while driving on the highway regardless of speed. I contacted the Ford dealership and asked if other Maverick owners had complained of the noise and I was told no. They asked me if it was noticeable. I wouldn't have called to ask if it wasn't. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you get it to stop?

I silicone sealed all of the window channels and that fixed mine.

Hey Samc, did you ever get the noisy "window run" replaced on your Maverick?

I did it's much better, the seal they replaced fits better from what I can tell. I will say if it's really windy I can still hear some noise but much better overall.

Don’t over think it, clean the channel and lay the silicone in

Most windshield shops can remove and replace the seal for less than a Benjamin.
I wonder if Ford changed the design... I get no wind whistle on brief forays over 80 in my 25 XL.

I picked up my mav from Long McAthur Ford and drove it back to Dallas. I heard the wind noise right away but in a cross wind only. After my ‘fix’ I have been in many cross winds and I have not heard the wind noise again.
