I personally think the Maverick is quiet.

Mine too have wind noise coming from the passenger door side. At first, it seemed to be coming from the passenger window and later the side mirror, but it's not. I discovered that if I push the inside door panel towards outside, it stops! ???
I am happy to have find how to stop it, but now, since I can't drive and push the passenger door at the same time,

Had my hybrid on the highway for the first time yesterday. I was doing 80 and I can say it's the quietest vehicle I have ever been in.

I wonder if you could just spray some expanding foam insulation into the area between the door and engine bay up against the non-sealing foam insulator to block all air flow from the engine bay??
Just to let you all know, I had a weird rattle like sound where the windshield met the A pillar on the passenger side. Using another thread on this site the solution was to get the dealer to reseal the windshield. That worked for me and I bet that is what you are also experiencing. When the dealer reported back to me they said that they were very surprised about how little seal was applied from the factory.

I usually don't notice any noise, but the other day the wife asked me to pick up the mother-in-law and that's when I noticed it...unbelievably loud wind noise...made the ride unbearable. Luckily the rear speakers are well placed when set at max vol.
I took my 2022 maverick in twice to the dealer to have them look into the excessive driver side air noise and both times they said they did not notice anything. they had the windshield resealed and that did not help. I bought deflectors for the windows and that did not help. In fact it has now developed a whistle on both sides. I love the maverick and would have no complaints if it did not have this issue.
I had this, it sounded like heavy raindrops falling all over the windshield. They resealed and said that the factory had not used a glue primer, causing the seal to be poor. But this did not address my cabin wind noise at highway speed.
