If I meant "dealership" I would have used the word "dealership". If I meant "ADM" I would have used "ADM". Let me repeat for the "clueless" (seems to be a tactful word you use a lot in your trolling). There is nothing to prevent "Ford" from changing the "MSRP" .
Let me know if you still don't understand.
Sorry but you are the one who is clueless here because Ford is not going to change MSRP on the Ford Maverick for MY2022.

Also Ford does not control dealer ADM fees or other dealer add-on charges. Those charges are what dealership's want for additional profit and they vary from dealership to dealership which proves the point that those charges are not from Ford.

I think many people are under the impression that because they have already ordered a 2022 Maverick (with or without deposit) that their price is locked in. Not so. There is nothing to prevent Ford from changing the MSRP on 2022 Mavericks that have already been ordered.
Most of the overwhelming success of the Maverick is fair price. If they hike the price people will lose enthusiasm quickly. I'm 66 & have never dreamed I'd be willing to wait 6-8 months & pay msrp. I currently feel the hybrid version is worth the price. Raise it & I'm out.

My dealer made a point of telling me we're making my deal at MSRP but they (the dealer) have no control over what Ford does with MSRP. My Maverick XL hybrid is built and ready to ship, I have the window sticker and the MSRP on the sticker is $19,995.

ordered a base XL. $21,490 including dest fees; X plan is 21338 - so a $152 savings; D plan 20,673 and A/Z 20573.
It would appear the margin is pretty small.

yeah, it's not much but some others have posted that the X plan also limits document fees so there may be some additional savings there. So I guess if you can easily get a X code and use the plan do it but if you can't get one without some real work then don't sweat it it's not that much of a difference.

Yes. Aa long as dealer is not trying to jam you up on pricing x plan is marginal. Doc fees being a biggie.

Why do you insist on mentioning ADMs? I never mentioned them. Nor did I mention Buyers Orders. Buyers Orders need a VIN #. These vehicles aren't even built yet. Where are you going to get the VIN from?

If you are that far along you won't have any problem. Fyi, the Window Sticker has really nothing to do with locking in a price.

Order a hybrid. You won't get it for several months. And hybrid orders are about to close soon for 2022 models.
Ended up taking your advice. Much obliged. Hopefully mine doesn't get pushed to 2023, but it wouldn't be the end of the world for me. Just going to be single car for awhile and will end up saving monthly for an increase to my down payment come delivery time.

I betting you'll get a 2022 model sometime around Memorial day. But with these continuing shortages and plant shutdowns....well, nobody knows for sure.

My wife and I have been down to 1 vehicle since June 10th. But we're retired so it's not a huge problem. Sold my Jeep for a good price, that money is just waiting to be given to Ford if they will just send me my truck. LOL

Just went to my dealer today to check on mine, supposed to be in any day now. I get mine for Sticker since I ordered it a long time ago. They say they are marking them up at lease 3 to 4K over invoice now. I concerned that they will try to low-ball my trade in (21 Escape SEL) to make up the difference. I've bought 9 vehicles from them in the last 10 years for the family. If they do this they can keep the truck and I'll never buy another one from that dealer. I guess we'll see how greedy they are. BTW, full size Bronco marked up 10K over sticker price.

I'm a teacher and my wife works from home, if we get to 2023 then I'll be able to walk considering my district is building a new school in my neighborhood. We were going to stay single car after a wreck I recently had, but she knows how much having a truck means to me and she kindly pushed me to order one of these. I've been obsessed with them since they released the first presser. I'm a big Ford fan.

Hope retirement treats y'all well.

You don't have to trade in with them. Get an online quote from Carmax and or Carvana first, then you will have a fair price in mind to compare with what they offer for your trade-in. I sold my Jeep to Carvana, it took about 1 hour and I left with a check in my pocket. It does take a couple days for that money to show up in your account after you deposit it.
