Will the Mav do snownuts?

First decent snow storm coming through right now. Went on a coffee run this morning with my daughter and was reminded that the Rav4 I'm driving until the Mav gets built won't let me do snownuts...so lame! My wife's Subaru Ascent rips great donuts in snowy empty parking lots.

Someone please let me know if the Mav's electronic nannies can be defeated enough to allow silliness in the snow. Picture or video evidence is enouraged!

The 2019 escape I drive for work with AWD even with traction control on could do donuts. It was kinda hard but it was possible. Traction control off mde it alot easier

In mud/ruts mode it removes reaction control - Haven't tried snownuts yet. Let me work on that -lol

Got suspended in high schools just watch friends doing doughnuts in the high school parking lot.
No one ratted out the driver so everyone there did time. My parents where mad at school. But driver confessed and got every one out of trouble. Such a great hero.

Used to be a high school administrator...always made situations so much better when the kid came out with the truth on their own. Gotta have good relationships with kids to make that work.

Friend of mine convinced his mom that his after school suspension was for eating donuts in the school parking lot, not doing them in his car

I haven’t tried it, but try turning off traction control and put it in sand mode.

Did snownuts a few weeks ago with the kiddos in our first decent snow. Sport mode with traction control off is all you need. Start with a turn in for some momentum and full send the throttle once the body weight shifts and you’ll get some sloppy donuts going.

Full throttle in Sand mode with AWD you can whip it around pretty good due the power, but not really all day long donuts like a rear wheel drive. I still have yet to get it properly stuck it does so well. Got about a foot in the last 24 hours of really wet snow. I busted right through the plowed up snow at the edge of the road.

Wouldn’t have worked for me I never heard the term donuts before that event, so got my Mom all worked up before my dad got home on bogus charges of eating donuts when I hadn’t.
He knew the term and he did some in High-school. He was a hot rodder and cool once … until I came along.

Thats all our lot was for, burnouts and donuts. Even had a guy, who did get suspended for it, who filled up a wing of the school with tire smoke one time. My sister married his sister, shes a gearhead too.

No chance in hell a RAV4 has better AWD than an Ascent's symmetric full-time AWD system.

Not sure how you're pulling your "snownuts" but RWD is the drivetrain you're looking for. Even with the "nannies" turned off it's just FWD, single wheel, and not that impressive for "snownuts"
