There's something that's simply special about the Maverick. Of the vehicles I've owned, it's one of only two where, before I hop in or I walk away, I can't help but just stop and stare at it. I'm sure my neighbor's ring camera has caught me an absurd number of times just gawking at my own truck like a weirdo.
Where I live in Southern Appalachia, Gladiators, Rubicons, Trail Bosses, and Raptors abound. Wheels, tires, custom suspensions, power mods, tunes, etc. Folks are used to seeing all that. Yet the Tremor catches looks and compliments and prompts conversations constantly. Mind you my truck is a bit more equipped than some others but it's still a compact economy truck at the end of the day. Yet just stopping at the gas station makes you feel like you're driving a Ferrari.
Ford, in my opinion, did so much right with this platform, even if there's obviously things that could potentially be improved. It's such a cool little truck and I'm happy I waited things out patiently because I intend to maintain this thing for years and years to come.
