Both are bringing back a category to the US that hasn't existed in years. While the SC is not right for me for multiple reasons, I do like what Hyundai is doing overall.

Man love both the pic and SC wait a minute I live in Tn. Both are pretty similar LOL all well . Wait a year or so there will be a flood of new Small pickups on the market . I'm looking at the RAV4 Prime. A year plus to order it be time to trade in the wife's 2019 Jeep Cherokee . By the way Happy Thanksgiving to All !

I'm with ya. But only time will tell. There is no accounting for taste. Just because I really like the looks of the Mav aint any reason to think most will see it my way. Just read the replies to my post on this issue; it's a real hornet's nest out there.

I've got a neighbor with the black SC, I think it's just butt ugly....but I have a friend with that nice light blue and it is just stunning, a gorgeous little trucklette. I had a bright white one pass in front of me in traffic the other day and I couldn't take my eyes off it. To each their own, obv, but the white and the blue at least are both gorgeous little trucks.

At least around me, the issue is the same as Mav's, you can't find them anywhere, and the only ones you stumble upon are crazy-priced. Also, no hybrid, so there's that.

They are claiming the Santa Cruz is a “sport adventure vehicle”. Created a whole new category for that thing. Considering the specs and options Mav is the clear winner. Santa Cruz bed is tiny. Definitely not a truck.

Was looking at SC then YouTube started showing me Mavericks videos shortly before launch. I prefer the Truck like look of unibody Ford better.
Was sold on SC ok on looks especially inside. But too nice and a tad more money then I wanted for small ranch work.
Rangers looked ‘off’ to me can’t figure why so wasn’t looking at Ford early on.
