There are multiple drain plugs in different parts of the maverick.

Which ones are magnetic from the factory? As a bonus, what size are they? If you're aware of a drain plug not listed here, share that too.

I will edit this first post with valid information. If you know first hand from your vehicle or from a service manual please share that information including year and trim.

There's really only one way to know for sure: pull them all and see if they stick to ferrous things.
Be quick, though, or all your oil will end up on the ground, and that's bad for the environment.

Well, some people have already performed services where they have removed these plugs, so they will be able to say whether or not the remember them being magnetic.

This is the one I have for my EB:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001NYMUW...W3EFU0OE&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it

It's M12x1.75 same as factory and same for the Hybrid's.

As for the rest:

There are a couple stickies and threads in the services sections with all this info and specifically the how to's.

PM me for the service manual if you want one.

Ive serviced everything already and the only ones I remember being magnetic are the PTU/Rear Diff. I replaced my engine oil plug with a fumoto valve and I dont think it wa magnetic. The Transmission plug is not magnetic and I would like to replace it with a magnetic plug.

The stock ones are not magnetic. Only the front and rear difs are and they are re-usable despite what the manual says.

Yea I bought some on reserve for the "better safe than sorry" method, but they are 100% not needed. The only thing they have applied to them is dried brown thread locker. So rather than put that in the service manual they want you to buy new ones...

Do you know the thread pitch of the diff plugs?
Sorry, I do not.

The part numbers I have on my build log are FORD specific and FORD does not list thread pitches or depth (because they want to sell you theirs). I have spares and I could go to the local hardware store to gauge them but I think you just inspired me to go ahead and grab the tool to measure them myself.

I went to NAPA and got a replacement magnetic oil drain plug. Cost about seven dollars
