I have been on this forum since Oct 2021, while waiting for my Maverick to be built. Lately most of the threads now talk about everthing from trading in Mavs, who's building trucks to compete with Mavs, etc. I'm happy that Ford, now has fixed the problems we have brought to there attention, that needed a second evaluation. Again Ford leads the way to bring to market, vehicles that the people want.

I wish all the problems were really gone. Admittedly, there are not many new widespread ones (so far). However, those remaining old ones have all been well addressed by the forum (not necessarily by Ford) and are being followed for new info and solutions by those concerned.

Or people still have problems but they know how to use the search function.
That and there are far fewer active members, and far fewer posts per day. Kind of makes sense, the Maverick isn't new and unknown anymore.

I wouldn't say the problems have all gone. There just aren't as many reported since the Maverick is going on its fifth model year of production for 2026. That's not to say the 25s are perfect in any way since there's been reports of the faulty passenger airbag indicator issues and block heaters overheating. Very mild issues compared to where it all started like with the airbag recalls, deep-sleep battery issues with the hybrids or the fire risk recall caused by the bed-liner installers drilling too deep through the bed and puncturing the gas tank.

Stuff like that. It's probably a good thing that you don't hear much reported anymore. Mine's a case in point. I've had my FX4 for over a year and a half and it's been rock-solid. No issues or recalls. It's been a great truck. Just wish the interior quality was better.

Unfortunately, very few people use the search function or read the Owner's Manual. So the same questions get asked over and over.

Yeah, feels like a lot of the early issues have finally quieted down. Guess once Ford worked through those first-year bugs, most folks are just out enjoying their trucks instead of posting problems. Nice change of pace honestly.

Wow, '21. We have come aways. I ordered mine in '22 and spent over a year and a half waiting. Had no issues except I totaled it and then when it arrived to a lot in Chicago it stayed there because of a potentially leaking gas tank. I ordered another one and it arrived in short order, don't know what happened to the old one. The only recall I has was a backup camera (even though it never stopped working) and I'm still loving the Mav. Right now it's sitting with big pile of soil/sod mix waiting to be unloaded. Took it up to Wisconsin Thursday and got 41.6 trip mileage (mixed driving) with about 48mpg normal.

15 dealer visits. Sync 3 still skips listening to bluetooth/carplay/USB. Issue is still there, I just don’t have anything new to complain about.

2024 Lariat that I had to wait 13 months for. Been rock solid. No recalls and no issues other than a pretty good air leak between the passenger door and the dash. Passenger bitch about a cold breeze much of last winter heading north snowmobiling. lol. Dealer says we have to wait till cold weather again so they can find. hahahaha...

I've spoken to my local service manager and he's said the Maverick has done extremely well service wise with both drive-trains. I've had zero problems with my 2024 Lariat and I am enjoying the truck immensely as a second vehicle. I end of driving it a lot more then I thought I would because it's comfortable and fun to drive.

It's taken 4 years to hopefully sort through the quality issues. Ridiculous.

One item of concern is the cost down the road of maintaining the Hybrid.
One is the Atkinson motor that will require lifter adjustment at some point because the cheap out option was solid lifters. A pricey deal. Reliability is not one of Fords strong suits.

And last over pricing in general, and of optioned vehicles that doesn't really make them better or tougher. But by the comments on here many seem to not mind buying reselling paying more the following year to have bragging rights.....lmao. Money to burn, I guess. We seem to drive the world's economy with consumerism and throw away items.

welcome to the internet! I feel like every forum I'm on has that issue. I think it's a lack of patience most of the time - people would rather just yell their question than spend 10 minutes doing some light research, bit weird, cos they're probably not the ONLY person to have had a battery die, wanted to put on different sized tires, or ordered a truck and wondered how to get delivery updates! I feel like we're getting dumber as a species. AI is helping...
