Am looking at two options for wheels and was looking at 21 Ford Explorer black, that I like but they're asking to much. Because I can get a TSW wheel for less that looks nice as well. Thoughts

I like the thicker spokes on the Ford wheel.
The TSWs are nice .. compare those to the Sport M1s on Discount's site.

OEM wheels usually cost more because they are harder to get. Really no other reason and it totally depends on the wheel/condition. Looks like those ones are brand new so they are going to run for a premium.

I like the first picture wheel more than second pic wheel. Probably easier to clean! I would shy away from any required “adapters” mentioned

I think the second pic has a better design, but as OleFordGuy said pic 1 looks easier to clean.

Nope, the Maverick bolt pattern is 5x108. If those are Explorer rims they will not work. If you add adapters to "make them work" the wheels will sit out from under the fenderwell.

It should fit its 5 lug 114 from what I looked up. But good point
Maverick is 5x108 so if you want factory/OEM wheels choose the edge wheels as others have pictures on here. Explorers don’t fit without adapters which is an option as others have mentioned may stick out further than you want 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if STRENGTH comes into the picture. You engineers can probably answer this. Is fewer thick spokes stronger than more thin spokes?
