What size wheel spacer (difference) to even front and rear?

I've got some aftermarket TSW Ascent wheels. I've seen where the front and rear offset isn't equal. What is the difference between the front and rear? Is 5mm for the rear to equal it out? I can't recall if I saw that it was close to 10mm.

The front track is .6" wider than the rear (.3"/side), so I'd look at 1/4" spacers. But, you are giving up a fair amount of lug nut engagement, unless you're going to have longer studs installed.

Thanks. Yeah, I would be getting longer studs as well. I was getting ready to order some stuff from Steeda and they only have a 5mm and 20mm package available, so I was hoping the 5mm would be good enough, but I have some OCD about that shit.

I got a 1/4 inch spacer from Amazon. It's pretty darn close. There is still enough thread left on stock lug nuts.

Bottom line is in addition to the track width difference of .6" (15.24mm),
you would need to measure the body width difference between front and back.

While the rear track is narrower, the fender bodies are slightly wider in the rear than front.
(Visually - i have never physically measured)

The other thing to pay attention to is your proposed wheel/tire combo size and offset.
Tug Toy and I both went with 20x9" wheels. He went with +37/38 offset and 275/45/20 tires.
I went with a +30 rear offset and 245/45/20. Front offset is +45.

As you can see, Tug Toy shows tire tread exposed past the wheel well (at top center).
My setup has the tire tread right at the edge of the wheel well (at top center)

Yeah, I'll need it as close to the lip as possible. I'm not sure how low I will set my Silvers when I install them, but I don't want to be hitting that wheel well lip.

This is similar to what I have (18x8 +40mm with 245/55/18 tires). I would have went wider, but with our rough roads 20" wheels would have been stupid, and I could find no 19" wheels I liked. Plus, a little bit of size wall can actually help with handling if it not too much. I had 5mm spacers on the rear with the factory black package wheels, but they would not give me enough lug with the wheels that I bought (Drag DR73). Any idea what longer lugs to buy?

These? Check what diameter the holes are on the Drag wheels. I know the OEM BAP's are .68" diameter.

Ugh! My biggest peeve is the front fenders that taper inwards and how it makes the tires poke out from the front. I wish I could install negative spacers to bring the front wheels in a bit, or roll the fenders to widen up the front part ...

On a previous car I got wheels that poked out a bit too much, but were really thick behind the lug nut seats. I had the back of the hubs machined down a little bit and they were perfect afterwards. But you can't do that to all wheels

Yup, if I change wheels on the Maverick I'd try to go +43 offset and add a 6mm spacer on the back
