Picked up (HPR, XLT, Hybrid, Hitch) on 02-09 and now have 3,000 miles. Average mpg for the entire time is 53.1! This is exact, not necessarily per read-out.

I live in St. Augustine, FL, which is flat and drive about 50/50 (city/highway). Gradual starting and braking (to the extent that I don’t interfere with traffic flow) and stay at posted limits.

IMPRESSIVE. I was happy with 30 MPG from my Ecoboost until now.

You need to teach me some things! I'm just up 95 from you in J-Ville, and I'm averaging right around 36 (by hand). That's a great return!

43.1 after 3100 miles. I mostly use Eco and not a lot of freeway driving.

I forgot to mention that I always set to “Eco” mode.

I would like to select “Electric” mode, but have not found that as an option.

The routine of smooth, easy starts along with very gradual stops all while in Eco mode seems to do the trick. Of course, having the local topography resemble a pancake helps a good deal.

With the following ingredients, everyone driving a hybrid should be able to get over EPA ratings…..

Flat terrain
Warm weather
Easy starts and stops
Sticking to the speed limit

Only 2 of these are completely in one’s control. Some would argue that all of them are in one’s control, but that is for someone else to argue.

I am happy with the 30 mpg on my Ecoboost. I need the AWD so hybrid is a non-starter. If I had the cash for an AWD EV I would have ordered a Rivian.

I am hoping for a 2023 AWD Hybrid option. I missed the cutoff for a hybrid and waited until hearing rumors of a Jan. total cutoff for orders and settled for the XL EB. Still happy I even got one at all.

I am averaging 49-50mpg. I have a little over 2k miles. My commute to work is relatively flat 28mi each way. I also drive in eco mode at posted speed limits and use slower starts and stops.
I just finished a 1,300-mile round trip from Memphis TN to Lexington VA and averaged 41mpg. The return trip with 3 adults and a bed full of luggage ect.

Driving a hybrid allows you to have a serious impact on mileage. Not a day goes by that I don’t say to myself that I’m glad we opted for the hybrid. It took June 28 - Feb 9 to actually get the thing, but no regrets.

Dealer in Palatka (Beck Ford) charged the standard $900 “processing” fee that they apply to every new car sale but that was it. Further, they decided to not permit the X-Plan.

There is no selectable all electric mode. The system just isn't sized or designed for that

I keep forgetting to enable Eco mode, but I’ve easily been getting over 42 mpg. Granted, my work commute is a hellish 1 hr 15 minute (or more) drive for 27 miles one way so I’m in electric quite a bit. Good ol Los Angeles traffic.

I’m gonna see what I averaged on a full tank Since I just filled up this weekend. It was my first time getting gas. I took delivery on March 23rd and go into the office only twice a week.

Wanted but unfortunately couldn't get a hybrid. Happy with my 30 to 31mpg in my 2wd Ecoboost. Confirmed by hand as well as the maverick computer.
