What is the best type of bed cover for security?

I'm new to pickups and been trying to read up on the different types of Tonneau covers.
Would tri fold or retractable be more secure? Also, what would you recommend as the most secure cover?

Not an expert, but I’ld say not a really big difference assuming you look at aluminum core trifolds.

The retractable will take up approximately 6-8” of the bed for the motor and storage canister.

The trifold will block some or all of the rear view window.

I know you didn't mention them, but I prefer a hard rollup to a trifold or retractable. All should be about equally secure though.

I agree, diamondback. There is a competitor out there but I don’t remember their name and last I looked they weren’t offering anything for the Maverick.
