We ordered 2 hybrids on the first day of orders in September. Other than a email from Ford acknowledging the order, not a peep from Ford. Dealer has no idea, and in fact says it may never be built in spite of being a first day order. This is getting to be worse than 2022 production.

Guessing on the following numbers.
There are maybe 6000 roll over 22 hybrids that should be scheduled before yours.
There were about 50000 to 60000 2023 hybrid orders.
Ford might be able to build around 35000 2023 hybrids.

Looks like there is a 24my Mav in our future, no?

Ford plans to build 150,000 Lightening pickups for the 2023 model year.

They know what you should really want.

I put the '22 hybrid glut at about 10,000. About half scheduled with VIN that were cancelled and about half rollover no VINs.

I am in the later category.

Whether yours gets built or not will depend largely on how many orders your dealer submitted, your priority code with the dealer, and how quickly your dealer gets an allocation from Ford.

It's a grim story for many dealers and customers.

Oh Raymundo, you are such an optimist!

I hear the MY2025 Mavericks will be so much better.

I don't know if this answers your question, but I ordered a 22MY October 9, 2021. Still waiting . . . However, I do have a new production week . . . January 02, 2023. However . . . I have had prior production dates cancelled and moved back starting September 2022 - December 2022. The question now is . . . will my January 02 production week be pushed back like what has happened numerous times in 2022? Need a crystal ball for best answer. Patience is the name of the game.

I hope for a 24; not sure I can last for a 25. On a positive note my CX-5 will be paid for in 25!! Also by 24 a lightening shouldn't be too much more than $100K (entry trim that is).

I don't think the rollovers got much priority, unless marked as priority by the dealer.

I ordered September 15th, got a confirmation email on the 16th.

Got the 45 day email, two days later got "scheduled for production Dec 5th."

As of Thursday I have a window sticker and show "in production."

Order was a 2023 XL hybrid, Cactus Gray with a 400 W inverter. I made sure the dealer marked my order priority 10 when it was placed, which certainly helped.

I'm honestly surprised I'm getting built at all, but I know mine is being built before LOTS of rollovers from what people here have posted.

It's too late now, but I followed Tim's @fordvideoguy 's instructions on what to tell the dealer when I ordered. That made a MUCH bigger difference (I believe) than anything else.

I think your situation is fairly uncommon for hybrid orders. I think the average wait will be over a year.

I think it's because I followed Tim's recommendation. I wouldn't put the order in unless it was priority 10.

What's everyone else's priority number?

Don't forget allocations. If the dealer doesn't have allocations, no truck.

That happened to me with my first order on October 12 2021. Some dealers won't tell you if they do or don't have allocations.

Also my first dealer was sold on the first day of the October order bank opening.

I found another dealer fast that day that gave me all the right answers when I asked.

My 23 Maverick hybrid is on the assembly line right now.
