What features does your current vehicle have that you will miss in the future?
And are there aftermarket parts that you will be getting to add those features to your maverick?

I'll go first:
I like the approach lights and auto-dimming mirrors on my subaru and I might be looking to buy aftermarket mirrors for my maverick in the future to get those features added.

It's a 2005 Impala, so really the only thing the Maverick wont have, period, is Cruise Control. In my normal driving, I have an opportunity to use it maybe once every 3 months, so whoop-de-doo.

I went Lariat Lux, but there are still a few things that are missing:
  • Approach Lights
  • Auto-dimming mirrors
  • Homelink
  • Rear Defrost? (is it a deal breaker?, not really.)I can always open the sliding window if i need to.
  • Also, I don't think there are any vents for the back seats. I won't miss them, but my kids might.
  • About 100 horsepower. I'm replacing my Volvo S60 T5 (290hp) with the Hybrid

Nothing 🤣. 97 Chevy 1500 as a stop gap between a 2 MK7 GTIs and the Maverick. In terms of the GTIs, the manual on the first one and the DSG on the second one (I rank both as equal in fun factor). Ah, launch control. Heated seats. Handling on windy roads. I love GTIs, but it is more practical to have something with ground clearance for the efficient daily driver where I am going to be. Likely may keep the POS truck or get a 3/4 ton for more serious truck purposes.

Lariat doesn’t have hybrid in Canada. Big shame. I will miss adaptive cruise, keyless entry / push button. Oh well - had to get loaded XLT instead!

Apparently XM radio. I've had a subscription for years. Luckily the plan is for the Maverick to be a second vehicle, so it won't be a deal killer (I can just stream the app anyway).

Sounds like we have the same wants.
I know I can get an aftermarket rear view mirror, and install home link buttons, but I haven't looked into approach lighting aftermarket yet.

The only thing I can tell is missing is navigation, but I can learn android auto. Navigation was so appreciated in 2019-2020 when I had to drive my spouse to Ann Arbor, 4.5 hours away, about twice a month for leukemia treatments, procedures etc. and freeway driving is not my forte.

I'll continue to add to the list as I think of other things.

The mirror with Homelink would kill two birds with one stone. The frameless mirrors are fantastic too. I love the way they look in person. (pics don't do them justice)

I didn't realize that only the Lariat Lux bundle came with satellite radio.

I am pretty happy with my android auto on my subaru.
The biggest problem is having to use a high quality USB cable.
I have ordered a wireless android auto adapter that I hope means I won't ever have to plug my phone into anything in the future.

Premium Audio.

I originally ordered a Hybrid Lariat + Lux for the B&O audio. I never liked the Lariat's interior and my impressions of the B&O were underwhelming (in Bronco Sport and F-150). Therefore, I downgraded to XLT and I'm looking forward to excellent aftermarket audio.

The wireless adapter for Android auto is not Bluetooth. It's a nearly 100$ kickstarter project that is compatible with most Android auto equipped vehicles. I've been waiting for it to be built and shipped to me since July and don't expect it for another month.

I'm hoping the B&O amp will power anything I hook up to it, but if it doesn't I'll appreciate having the wiring done already.
