Just curious—what kind of vehicle did you have before the Maverick?

Was it a full-size truck, a smaller car, an SUV… or maybe the Maverick is your very first vehicle?

I bought my '25 XLT Hybrid Maverick to replace my '22 XLT Hybrid Maverick. Yep, I loved the Maverick so much I bought another one. It's been my 2nd & 3rd most favorite vehicles ever! I owned an '88 Dodge Daytona with T-Tops from '88-'97...that was the best!

Ford hit a Grand Slam with the '22 Maverick, and I was thrilled with almost every part of it. But I put a lot of miles on it quickly, and there were one or two things I wanted to change about it (larger screen, heated steering wheel, & color); so when the '25s had a larger screen, I jumped on it.

It's exactly what I wanted: a truck, small, comfortable, and gets brilliant gas mileage (43 mpg). If it was available in Clemson orange, I'd give it a 10 out of 10. As is, I give it a 9.

Went from a 2019 Ford Fiesta SE to the Maverick.
Years ago I had a 99 Ranger, so I'm not a total stranger to trucks.
I like the fact that I'm getting about 25% better gas mileage on a bigger vehicle and one that is more usable!

Ordered a Lariat Hybrid AWD with 4K tow package in order to haul a camper - the Mav might be built today! My 2014 Honda CR-V has a tow limit of 1,200 lbs, and the campers we're looking at are in the 2,500 lbs range.

I replaced a 2011 Nissan Rogue SUV. I had been using it a a commuter vehicle for work. I have wanted a small / mid-size truck for a long time and planned to get one after I retired but when the transmission went out on the Rogue it was a sign that I didn't need to wait anymore. I had already decided I was going to get the Maverick when the AWD Hybrid came out after I retired and the death of the Rogue just moved the time frame by a few months. I am glad it did. I really enjoy my Maverick a lot more than the Rogue.

2018 Colorado extended cab 4cyl 4wd. Bought it new and it was a great truck. It got 21 mpg winter and 24-25 summer. I wanted a Maverick when they first came out but wanted to wait until they came out with a hybrid all-wheel-drive. I would not have traded the. Colorado for any other truck other than the maverick and I couldn’t be happier.

I had an 09 GMC sierra 1500 when ordered but didn't last long enough to maverick delivery. Bought a 2014 chev sonic for a beater. (An ecoboost maverick actually gets better mileage)

My 2024 Maverick XLT Hybrid replaced my 2012 Ford Mustang Coupe. I always wanted a Mustang and I got to experience it for about a year before we bought the Maverick. I don't regret it for a moment. The Maverick is my second favorite vehicle I've ever owned -- only surpassed by my 2018 Jeep Wrangler that I still own along with the Maverick.

I replaced a 2014 Ford F150 XL. The F150 was gigantic, yet still only had 3 seats including the bench seat.
My wife's car broke down when she was at the vet. I had to pick up her, my daughter, and my 2 dogs in a truck that only fits 3 people at best, and that's when I knew I needed to get something with a bigger cabin.
I was hoping they'd eventually roll out an extended cab version with a 6' bed, but so far I haven't run into too many issues with the shorter bed.

I love the smaller size of the overall truck, and the gas mileage (AWD Hybrid) of about 37-40 MPG compared to about 14-16 in the F150 is night and day.

I had a 2015 Honda CR-V. But the last few years I've had to fold down the rear seats to accommodate my wife's wheelchair thereby making it a 2 seater.

I decided to look at options and discovered the Maverick. My biggest concern was the egress/entry for my wife. I measured and was happy to find that the seat height was the same. When we took our XLT for a test drive, my wife said I love our new truck! The salesman and I new it was a done deal then.

Now we can have passengers and the wheelchair riding comfortably at the same time.

As a side note, I have never really liked front wheel drive vehicles, as I would rather be "pushed", as in my Vette. But the AWD of the Maverick has brought a whole new game to town and I love how it corners. I've had full size trucks and a mini king cab but this is the best by far.

Currently, I'm driving a Mustang while waiting for my order to get scheduled. Was a pretty nice ride during my single days. Now that I've got a kid, I need a four-door.

The new Mav is going to be replacing that, if you're asking about my last vehicle. If you're asking about my last truck specifically, I used to roll in a 1979 Chevy Silverado. Loved that truck, and I'm looking forward to being "a truck guy" once again.

I had a 22 bmw X3M that was destroyed by hurricane Helene and replaced with my 24 tremor. Maverick is the perfect size for what I needed and best of all, fits in my garage along side my wife’s car. But I miss the fun factor.

I sold my 2009 Tacoma with 113,000 miles on it for $10,750, I paid $21,000 for it 16 years ago. I wanted a small pickup truck with good gas milage and all the new safety features. I'm now driving a 2025 Lariat and love everything about this truck. My out the door cost was $29,000 after the sale of the Tacoma. Ford hit a home run with the Maverick.
