Yea. I agree. I have a ‘24 that I waited almost 500 days for and love but my daughter has it now. I’m planning to order an XL AWD hybrid sometime near the beginning of December.

I started the post to see if anyone had any ideas or plans to mod these dead zones in the facia of the ‘25’s.

I think it’s more pronounced in lighter colors. I’ll order a grey one and it’s not such a stand-out. I do think these blank spaces could be useful for aftermarket lighting but it’s going to take some time for aftermarket vendors to come up with products.

I like it too. To be fair, I was going to buy one the second I heard there was an AWD hybrid available but I think the refresh is a slight improvement. I’m also stoked for the larger screen and Sync 4, especially after reading on here about how buggy and terrible the current Mavericks’ infotainment is. I guess I’m not super stoked on them removing the physical climate controls but I just leave the HVAC on my current Mazda in auto mode all the time anyway so I can’t say that’s a change in even gonna notice 98% of the time.

All in all, this all seems like pure improvement over the current models to me.
It’s a big refresh especially for the hybrid! Sync 4, New stronger hf55 eCVT, AWD and 4k tow package.

I actually like the new front end, the 19" rims, Sync 4, the 13.2 " screen and the new interior color. I hope to order one soon, unless the 2025 Ranger offers a moonroof. If that's the case, I will need to reconsider.

I like it. Seems to me the people who hate it have zero intention to buy a 2025 anyway.
I hate it and hope to be able to retro fit a 24 front on to it when I get one.

If that's even possible, I'll bet it would cost a lot. Maybe just buy a 2024 if you don't think you can live with the 2025 front end.

I'd do it buying scraped parts. I like the other changes that come with the 25.

I am going to keep an eye on CoPart and my local pick and pulls. If I find a Maverick with a decent front clip, I'll probably get at least the front clip. Then if I can upgrade to a hybrid with 4k I will swap the front clip in the garage and then get it painted to match. Swapping the front grill and headlights shouldn't be too bad. Certain trims and colors aren't disgusting, but the 22-24 just looks sooo much better.

What about the lighting differences and associated electronic controls? Different design headlights will present different loads and requirements I would suspect. But hey, I'm no engineer.

If I pull the front clip, I will pull the headlight, then clip the wiring strategically. I would almost garuntee the wiring harness is unchanged (96.387%). They will most likely have the unused wires end at the connection where the headlights plug in. Other associated electronic controls shouldn't be hard to figure out as long as I don't hack everything like it doesn't matter. Rarely on a mid cycle refresh is there much change to the wiring harness it cheaper for the manufacturer to order 5 million of 1 harness that 1 million of 5 harnesses.

It's not so much the wiring harness and connectors I'm questioning, it the different electrical loads and operating parameters between 2 different light technologies that can throw a BCM into an error situation.

I would take the bet that the difference is minimal, try it, and correct anything that is necessary once it showed itself. The minimal load different shouldn't be enough to be of any actual consequence. I am making this assumption based on about 7 or 8 older (pre 2015) front clip conversations with no "major" changes other than the obvious, electrical parts or components on one and not the other. The electrical load associated with most of these are sufficient with the existing harness and fuses.

Hopefully @Diode Dynamics or @MABETT is working on something. PLEASE.

That would be nice location for fog lights however that entire bezel of or whatever it’s called needs to be modified or replaced.
The down low lights always seem to locate all of the rocks.

Swapping a 22 24 nose on a 25 will be nothing. Easy.

Yup not a fan of the design, looks like a couple of patches to hide the holes.
What is it I read about the new , pricey, particulate filter on the '25's.
