I work on JBLM, so if you guys ever want to grab a coffee during the week, or after work say in DuPont, i'd be happy to meet up.

I went out to my Mav after work the other day and an Iconic Silver Mav was parked next to me, first time that has happened. So that makes 4 on post counting mine. That makes 1 HPR, 1 Carbonized Grey, 1 Iconic silver and 1 black, all on post.
I can verify the Iconic Silver Mav parked next to you was NOT me. :giggle:

I have been issued a VIN. So I will eventually get my Truck.

Ordered it from Port Orchard Ford.
I was very close to ordering from them, as I'm located in Bremerton. They had a TON of Broncos on the lot when I went by last year, so I should have figured they'd have good Maverick allocation. I ended up going with Titus-Will in Tacoma thinking a larger dealer would get me scheduled faster. I'm a month later than you in ordering, so here's hoping I have a VIN of my own by the end of June!

I too almost ordered from Port Orchard Ford. They wanted a 1K non refundable deposit so.....no thanks!

SW Washington (Vancouver) checking in.

After one week of ownership, I'm impressed with my Maverick. Also relieved that the Lariat interior is much more subtle in person than in pics. Now to do something about those Lariat wheels...

Wanted to give a shout out to Landmark Ford in Tigard, OR. They honored x-plan price protected pricing, with no additional dealer markups or extended warranty or service contract hard sell.

Agree on the L/Interior - On the Ford renders it was straight up yikes. In person much better. Will miss the XLT orange but I just can't deal with cloth seats ever again and wanted the extra goodies - Flying back to 206 this Thursday - Teriyaki time !

Yep, In pictures the blue looked a lot brighter and I thought was going to look terrible with my HPR. It is actually a really subdued color and doesn't clash like I thought it would. I do prefer the bronze accents in my Lariat though. Overall I just really love the pickup.

Just a heads up for anyone looking to order a 2023.
  1. So far the only Seattle area dealership who has mentioned a deposit is Bowen Scarff in Kent. $100 refundable deposit to get an order placed on "Day 1".
  2. Other dealership I heard back from was Ford of Kirkland, who did not mention a deposit.
  3. Pierre Ford in Lake City/North Seattle has not replied to my emails sent both directly to their new car sales manager, and their generic "contact us" form. I first emailed their sales manager about a week ago, then waited to fill out the generic contact form until a few days ago after not getting a reply from the sales manager. We will see if they ever get back to me.

I have my existing 2022 order in with Harris Ford, and they did not ask for a deposit for the 2022 model. Have not talked to them about their plans for 2023 orders, but I assume no deposit for 2023 since they did not do a deposit for 2022. If anyone else has talked to any dealerships and knows those dealerships plans for deposits versus no deposit, post them here. :)

Evergreen Ford in Issaquah doesn't ask for a deposit either.

Craziness!
45 minutes north of you in Eastgate today, 2 other Mavericks met in a Safeway parking lot.

Fellow MTC member Durflife and I met to sell window air deflectors, hold hands, and swap Maverick stories.
2 of those things happened!
;)
Oh man! I live less than 2 miles from that Safeway. But I am still waiting for my Maverick to arrive sometime between June 30 and July 6.

I would have flipped out if I had seen your trucks that day! Sorry if I tailgated one of you last month from I-405 to I-90. I was just so excited to see one in person finally.

I try to remind myself not to drive like an asshole in such a recognizable vehicle. It mostly sometimes works...

Back in my day, that used to be an Albertsons and Eastgate was a working class neighborhood. 😂

I remember when it was Albertson. I couldn't afford my house if I bought it today.

In my day, Albertsons was it's own chain, not just a rebranded Safeway...lol.

Ha, I wish I could afford a house there (or anything worth owning). I used to live right by Eastgate Elementary. 50% of my immediate neighborhood growing up is now new $2.5-3 million homes and gone are the trees on the 10k sq ft. lots.
