I haven't been notified yet that mine needs the recall. I called the dealership right after the recall was announced here, the service department had no idea what I was talking about.

I have no notification of this when I check my FordPass app. I'll wait for the written letter. Doesn't seem to be a big deal. I have marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers if my truck does catch fire. Just keep looking at the bright side of things, y'all.
Not at this time. I'm mindful when I dry after washing to get that channel dry. It's solid product for sure. I'm sure over time things will pop up, but right now it's baller.
That’s what I purchased too. Love it so far. Easy install and really enjoying the easy roll up I’ve washed the truck 3 times so far and no water leaking either. Very happy.

Instead of asking people to send you DMs after this happens, you could just issue a recall. That seems like a more proactive, and customer centered, approach. Just a thought. @Ford Motor Company
