I asked the dealer to not drill my bumper for the plate, so now I'm between leaving it off altogether (which is illegal in WA) and getting some holder for the FX4 hooks.

Which way have you guys gone/are you planning to go?

I also asked the dealer to not install my front plate frame. A "No Drill Order", if you will. I am considering not installing anything, installing the tow hook clamp frame, or a frame that mounts down in the air dam. But I will be darned if someone is going to drill into the bumper of my brand new custom ordered pickup!

They just had some new Hybrids turned down by customers (as they are Special Order on Window Sticker). In stock, 2 XL's and one Lariat (First Edition). Only looks like they are marking up $2K. That's almost a steal.

I see Mullinax Ford in Olympia has an XLT Hybrid statused as In Transit. I wonder if it will be on the same transporter that's bringing up my Cyber Orange Lariat from the Portland rail yard?

I don't believe Mullinax shows incoming customer orders on their website, because mine is not on there. So maybe the Hybrid listed is a customer order backout? Although the window sticker makes it appear like dealer stock order. But the VIN number is very low. Much lower than mine. So it was a very early order. Maybe dealers got in some Hybrid orders early before Ford shut them down?

Palsapp still isn't showing anything. Did Bgn see a change in Palsapp when his went on the transport truck? Wondering how long it will take before they load a truck to head north....maybe this won't be an early Christmas present after all

With how fast rail started out for me making it almost to the Oregon border before Thanksgiving, I thought it would beat the December 18th delivery date in the Ford tracker system by weeks. But then it took forever to get to Portland. And forever sitting in Portland. I will be happy if it showed up by the 12/18 delivery date, now!

I'm trying a new strategy. I was keeping my schedule as open as possible, so I could run down and get my truck at the drop of a hat. Since that is not working, I have now decided to fill my schedule as much as possible making it extremely inconvenient. I know when it finally comes, it will be extremely inconvenient. So, maybe this will hurry it along?

Is it not showing anything or is it not showing destination?

It changed to Dispatched within a week of it getting to Portland, then delivered within a day. Realistically, I believe most are looking at most a day between dispatched and delivery to the dealer, and then however long it takes the dealer to do the PDI to finally take delivery.

For grins, I just decided to check PalsApp again. Even though I checked it right before I adopted this new strategy one hour ago, and voila!

This is the first time I have seen Destination and Destination Name filled in. Status is still Pending though.

Oh wow, that's awesome. I checked my vin and the destination is still (Null)....boourns. Mine is going to Snohomish so perhaps a bit harder to load a truck for there than the Seattle area.

Shouldn't be too bad. There were only 3 vehicles on the truck headed up to my dealership, two of which were Transit vans. I suspect there are two types of trucks:

1. The big boy carriers that can fit 6-10 vehicles on a huge trailer

2. The guys who drive F-350s with goose neck trailers tht only fit a few vehicles

Now the Ford tracker system has pushed out my delivery date from 12/18 to 12/21. First time it's adjusted out later. Kind of frustrating since it's so close.

It made it the first 1,360 miles in 5 days. Flyin'! The last 480 miles has already taken 21 days. Stallin'.

I remember the first Union Pacific report said it would be in Portland to the transporter hub by Friday, November 26th. Lots of slips since then. So it's a little painful to watch the official delivery date get pushed out. It so close. Just close that final gap! It's hard to keep patient. But I'm trying.
