Here is an example of an owner (me) not reading yellow sticker and listening to his son. Picked up a 1/2 pallet of sod (around 1500 lb) and had 400 lbs of passengers.......truck did just fine. Son told me 1/2 pallet weighed around 400 lbs...LOL

You could put about half of them on a hitch tray

The bed should be fine. I have carried 600ish pounds of trash to a dump. 20 concrete deck pavers, six 2x6s and some plywood. The most difficult job was having concrete bags that was barely under 1500 lbs not including me and my friend. The truck was squatting and I did slow street driving but we got home with no issues.

had the 60911 air lifts show up yesterday. Took a few hours and scrapped my hands up a bit fitting these things in there but i would recommend them if your going long distances/driving at night/notice you lose traction when heavly loaded.
Another benefit no more brake diving.

Ordered that tow plate cover and mounting that tip to make pretty later.
The ride reminds me of my sequoia that had airbags in the back.

One of the reasons I picked an XL, I’m getting the full 1498lbs.

Kinda funny people make fun of the Maverick, but mine is rated for about 250lbs more than my son’s Nissan Frontier “real truck” (not my son’s attitude, he’s jealous of my hybrid MPG). Granted his is a 4x4 so carrying around extra pounds.

Pro Tip:

Buy slightly shorter air bags.
And jack up the side you are working on and let the wheel hang. Stretches the spring and the air bag goes in easy as pie.

The bags do not need to fill the entire cavity inside the springs.
