When does that killer asteroid get here? Then:
"Ford provides no communication!"
Now:
"But that's not what I wanted to hear!"

Apparently it pops up on their tracker as well, which is meant for current orders. So, I'm not so sure it's for future orders as much as another acknowledgement that 22s are getting pushed to 23s unless you strip down your build, especially constrained items. Is that on the main Ford website, where you go to price and build vehicles? If so, I actually consider that a GOOD thing. Ford is finally being honest about the situation, and sending consumers to their local dealers BEFORE placing an order will probably do everyone a world of good.
For consumers, it's hopefully going to make them better educated about exactly how bad the supply issues are, and how long they may have to wait should they decide to order a vehicle with all the bells and whistles.
For dealers, they may be able to steer some of those people to other new or used vehicles they have on their lots, or other models they know they can order and receive in a more reasonable time frame.
And for Ford, hopefully it helps buy them a little more good will by being up front with everyone about the bind they are in, and hopefully not field as many thousands of calls every day from people who want to know, "WHERE'S MY TRUCK?!?!?!?!?!?"
Well, maybe it'll get a few more people to drop those LUX Packs and CoPilot 360!Apparently it pops up on their tracker as well, which is meant for current orders. Mine shipped 2 weeks ago. I just hit the X on the new pop-up and it allowed me to get to my normal order status screen. Good luck to all of youMaybe they've gotten enough customer feedback to determine their trackers and erroneous emails are frustrating customers. And finally putting that role back on the dealerships. I actually got much better status information from my dealership than anything I got from Ford directly.
Hard to believe anything in this environment. Local Toyota dealership estimated 2-4 months for a RAV4 Hybrid, the more basic the order, the faster it would arrive. Most Toyota dealers only have a 4-6 month wait for Hybrid Corollas and Priuses, just throwing it out there.
The Toyota dealer near me will not have any more Prius vehicles until May. They have 1 at $3500.00 over sticker. Most Toyota dealers only have a 4-6 month wait for Hybrid Corollas and Priuses, just throwing it out there.
