Pretty sure that is what I did with the wiring, I guess after they are done with the recall airbag thing I’ll look again

Both Hot Peppers out getting Mexican food
The restaurant just shares the parking lot with another business I promise

That hot pepper looks nice in the sun, like my previous car.

The other truck got tint and a bedliner
Red truck is at the dealer doing the airbag recall
Going to start putting the stereo stuff in this weekend (I hope) as long as I get it back in time (for the red truck)

Back to the red truck
Just waiting on the harness so I can add the fog lights
Wanting to do this at the same time as the headlight swap
And also finishing the stereo build (all those parts are here now)
I wish I could justify taking a week off
But I can’t, luckily daylight savings is starting soon so I’ll have more daylight after work

We’ll have a bit of a setback as far as the audio system goes….

Took my truck in for the airbag recall
Well instead of the water bottle that some people got, I ended up with a severely scratched dash
Not 100% what the tech did but it’s no way acceptable
I always ask that they don’t wash my truck (they run it through some quick wash deal in the back that just makes it dirtier) so the tech just parked it up front when it was done
My service advisor (who is also a friend) didn’t look at it so he didn’t know what had happened
When I picked it up it was near closing time and he wasn’t there but I shot him some pics and he was pissed
So we have a meeting with the service manager when he returns from vacation

Looks like I’ll be getting a new dash, which is extremely annoying
I’m not sure I want to install my speakers if they are going to be removing everything anyway
Not even sure what the wait would be for a part like that
I’m not really concerned as I know they will take care of it, just sucks a tech…. That is touching my truck…. Which is obviously customized and very well cared for…. Wouldn’t take extra precautions to keep from doing damage
They already know I inspect my truck completely anytime I take it there, so I’m just baffled this was possible
I wouldn’t be surprised if the tech comes up and apologizes to me (I know a couple of the techs as well)

Overall just dumb and the new dash had better not rattle, my current one doesn’t at all

On a brighter note I got my new center channel speaker from @Nw_adventure today, even though I can’t install it yet

Man sorry to hear this. I've had similar done to my rides over the years. I've ended up with body damage, stripped bolts, too much oil in the engine was enough for me to call it quits with dealers. The true American mechanic is like the bald eagle. not many left (at dealers), most quit and went private

As a Dealer Ford technician really sorry for what happened to you. This interiors are really touchy easy to scratch even looking at them they tore up . As i discovered while working on mine.

Your BCM to front Fender harness its Done. Waiting on what to do for the bumper harness boss men. Heres a sneak preview.

I’ve noticed I do a lot more looking and thinking than I used to
My son is getting annoyed because its taking me so long to get this finished
Was taking advantage of the extra hour of daylight yesterday to plan wire routing (and I’ve got no idea how I’m going to get the speaker wire through the door gasket/loom things)
Went ahead and installed the bass knob because I was concerned the cable wasn’t long enough (since the system interface module is going to be in the back near the B&O amp location)
It’s just long enough with a little play for comfort
Found a perfect spot for it (same spot my son used on his F150 so I copied him)
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build E1BF877C-7183-480F-A647-E43191438760

I plugged in the PAC harness to check if I needed to modify like the others have had to do…. Maybe they updated the kit? Because all mine plugged in with no issue
I wasn’t able to test the signal or anything but I didn’t need to trim the connector
Really going to put a lot of time into the truck this week/weekend
Tired of having some many loose ends

plus I need to swap headlights so I can get rid of the gray truck

Got the harness from @Vtec87pr1
This is the best made harness I’ve seen
SUPER impressed!
Pulled the truck into the garage, will be disassembling tomorrow after work
The plan is to do nothing but work on it this weekend
Number one job is to swap the headlights with the BAP truck
Second is getting fog lights connected and mounted
Third is running all the audio system wiring and maybe getting some speakers connected
Low hopes for the audio system but its there in case the others go quickly and smoothly
