Local shop wants me to use the Hertz Mille Legend set (MLK 1650.3 I think) but I don’t really want to spend that much
I trust them but damn that’s a lot of money I’m not sure my damaged ears could tell the difference
Box will be started once all the fiberglass materials show up…. And I guess when I go to my friends shop to cut some wood

I almost went with those hertz mille, I love them, amazing highs and great midbass. Would never pay MSRP on them are to be honest, I almost got them for around 900 for the set though only main reason I considered them. I'm excited to see your L7 get put in though, that will be badass, and I love the RF amps very underrated in my opinion

Was looking at the underseat plastics and even though I was trying to not…. I’m going to have to cut a few of them up
Probably only the ones that sit outside of the seat towards the doors
The dip in the plastic is going to get in the way of the box getting max airspace
I guess at some point in the future Mavericks will start showing up in junkyards and I can grab misc plastic pieces (luckily all Mavericks use the same color pieces)
This weekend I’ll be cutting and finalizing the box area and next week could be the week for box construction
Already warned the wife she will have to park in the driveway until the box project is done

Ok decided on front stage
Hertz (highly recommended by the shop) Mille MPK 165.3
A little more budget friendly than the MLK 1650.3 but should have a similar tone

I’m glad to have all the big stuff decided and stacked in the garage

Now to just start building

Cardboard turned into MDF
Still waiting for the resin to show up
We spent a solid 3 hours last night figuring out the best way to do the fiberglass work…. I now have a solid game plan
Hopefully it works the way we think!

Only had one sub so I couldn’t get a pic of both in the holes
Will most likely have to raise the seat a bit more but will worry about that when the box is done

Life keeps getting in the way
Also picked up the stock wheels (that are going on the wife’s Bronco Sport)
Pictures don’t do these justice, in the sun they sparkle like crazy
Sadly they will most likely always be dirty so no one will have see

getting the tires remounted right now before starting with the box

they do look good in bronze

The rear floor has a tiny bit of sound damping plus a foam cut out?
Added hush mat under the carpet and foam

The smell of resin is no joke

Since I have no idea what I’m doing I’m just stumbling through this
I guess we shall see if it turns out good or not
