Thanks. Leaning toward what you have. But probably would be happy with either if the other didn't exist. 😎

BakFlip looked like it had prop rods also to keep it off the cab when up. Confused on that part.

😳 I don't know how I have not seen this thread until now... seeing your truck in our first meet up here in Houston, I honestly think it looks better in person. But as most everyone has said your Maverick looks awesome. Can't wait for the next meet up to see the couple of new mods

I dropped my stock wheels off this week to powder coat them bronze as well, but they will be going on my wife’s Hot Pepper Bronco Sport (so we can be matchy)

Another small mod I’m considering doing
Already have the handle so it’s just a matter of deciding to do it
It’s def something 99.9% of people would never notice but I’m the one that looks at it
I also have a long battery tender cable ready to install just in case the battery dies since this would effectively remove physical key lock access….. but with that in mind I’ve not ever had to use a physical key to open one of my cars in the last 6 years
Ford Maverick volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build 5A133747-0BAD-406C-9DA6-4D68660B1032

Non symmetry kinda always bothers me

Gee your right, the key doohickey is NOT symmetrically centered in the handle divot.

Even if you had a battery tender . What if the batteries dies how are you going to open your door? I guess maybe you make an acess for jump box .
The chances of the battery dying is slim (maybe in 3 years I should worry)
I’ve never had an issue with keyless entry over the last 10 years I’ve had keyless entry cars
Pretty sure I’ll be fine
Worst case I have to tow it home to charge
I’d be more concerned about my phone not being charged

Harness has not yet arrived
I’d go put it in today but it’s way too cold for that
