I don't understand why a XL Maverick would have carpet and not have an option for vinyl flooring. I do have floor liners and although they cover 95% of the carpet and thats definitely better then nothing but I would like to cover more of the carpet. Mainly between the sill plate and liners. Also the rear of the drivers liner as I am a taller guy and have a bad habit of leaving my heel on the hump at the front of the seat. Anybody have any ideas on where to get something to cover this area so the carpet there doesn't get wet? Looking for something that would last unlike the thin plastic new vehicles come with.

TuxMats, although pricey (but not as much as some) have the best coverage of the all weather liners. They are however, much plusher than you're looking for. I know of no rubber mats that cover so well, but there may be some.

. I prefer Avocado Green myself...
My house was avocado green.

Hell, the entire subdivision was avocado green.

By the tine I bought in 90, the house was painted white with blue trim, but a third of the street was still green.

My carpets, formica counters, appliances, and back patio were still green. (well, except for the oven that got r3e[laded with gold). Oh, and the cabinet doors throughout the house.

Now, all that's left are the counters and the oddly resilient paint on the back patio.

vinyl flooring on the floor of the mav? How weird is that? Slip much, feet side getting in and out? Just wondering, "WHAT ARE YOU THINIKING"?

I know what you mean.
My Sport Trac came standard with vinyl on the floors and a set of OEM Berber floor mats.

You can get f150 and superdutys with vinyl floors. They even make ford rubber mats that go over vinyl and have more grip. Vinyl is so much more forgiving then carpet and will also not stink if water sits on it for days. It’s an xl and I know some local companies have a few that are fleet. Vinyl also makes more sense if you have pets, children and actually use the truck as a truck.

Aren't Raptors (or is it just the Bronco Raptor) equipped with a vinyl / plastic floor, with drain plugs?

I would much prefer that... When I heard everyone complaining about the plastic interior, I was REALLY hoping that I could just pull seats out and hose the interior down. Alas, I am le sad.

DanielDeliverz has a recent video that shows his rear rubber mats. He loves them as they cover the hump between the rear wheel wells. Just google him and look at his 136,000 mile video.

I’ve been looking at these tuxmats for the reason that they have incredible coverage of the floor, far better than the factory all weather mats I paid for. Check them out they honestly cover every inch of space and go under your seat even.

They only have carpet because they'd only sell a few and adding options adds cost. These really aren't work trucks.
