Anyone have this issue when accelerating or deaccelerating of feeling vibration that makes you want to speed up to get it to stop. Higher speeds no problem, But don't want any damage to drivetrain, I've been to two dealers that since no check engine lights on they can't help me, they rebalanced my tires but problem still there.
Has anyone had this issue and what did your dealer do to correct it? Any help is much appreciated

What is your RPM when you get the vibration? Does it feel like it is lugging the motor due to low RPM?

The rpm is about 2500, it seems to be more speed related because at 65 with cruise on rpm drops to the same 2500rpm but vibration begins at 35mph and only stops ehen above 45mph🤔

Need more details on your track, is it stock? Did you do any post factory upgrades? Tires? My first suggestion is to check wheel alignment. Second ABS sensor. Third will be trany (start with fluid) . All of them correlate with speed block.

Stock, no upgrades, I will have alignment checked but ehen I let go of the wheel it tracks dead straight, will check trany fluid
Thanks

I would check the axle shaft then, I have seen reports of some bad axles which could cause a vibration. If you have a gopro camera you could watch it while driving.

Slightly apply brake and see if quits. If it does could be transmission torque converter chatter when trying to go into normal "lock up".
Can you duplicate the concern for a tech or is it just too random?

Interesting you're having the same problem, yours is a hybrid, his is gas.

Howdy, it's pretty random. I just assumed it was the switch from gas engine. to electric motor. when letting off on the gas... Nope, I probably couldn't duplicate it. Thanks for your help!

I have a similar issue, but mine is a vibration I hear rather than feel. It’s loudest when accelerating from a standstill. It gets louder as I go through the first three our four gears and it’s loudest at 1800 rpm’s. It pretty much goes away above 45mph. I also hear it sometimes when I’m coasting downhill and the engine is braking but again it’s around 1800 rpms. To me it sounds like a piece of sheet metal vibrating. Maybe a heat shield.

But I just remembered watching a YouTube video months ago of a guy reviewing his new Maverick and he mentioned a vibration coming from behind the rear seat. It was a piece of sheet metal (see picture) that doesn’t seem to serve any purpose. Sort of shaped like butterfly wings. If you pop the wings with your finger it sounds a lot like one of those springy door stops that little kids like to play with. I wrapped mine with duct tape and it significantly reduced the noise I had been hearing. However it’s still there so I assume the vibration that’s still making a noise must have been causing that butterfly contraption to vibrate. I still have to get my truck into the dealership to see if they can figure it out because it’s ruining my Maverick ownership experience.

in my view that’s what he is prob referring to. The proverbial problem with the 2.0 and current TMC programming that yields to high of gear in many situations in normal mode.

Ford needs to get on this.

Paddle shifters would fix that for me.
