That's why I think it has to do with that plate/cover that you have to take off to get to the oil filter to change. I think that should have been my first thought to do is to take it off to see if everything was ok under that and go from there since it started after they did the oil change.We've had this kind of issue on two vehicles. Once it was the heat shield above the catalytic converter and the other time a broken weld on a baffle inside the muffler. Almost forgot, another time it was the tin rock guard on the inside edge of the front rotor got bent and was rubbing against the rotor itself.
