When I try to remote start the vehicle via FordPass, I get a message saying it's unable to start because accessory mode is on.

How is it in accessory mode when the key isn't in and turned?

It started okay for the first month then all of sudden I'm starting to get this message.

Anyone know how to turn on/off accessory mode?

Thanks!

You might try uninstalling/reinstalling the phone app.

Shouldn't have to do that all the time. I think I'm on to something here experimenting, I'll post back once I learn something from it.

My Maverick does the same thing. I just keep trying and eventually it starts. The only problem is I have to be able to see the lights come on or hear my truck start because the app doesn't tell me it started.

I just started to notice that too. I would be nice to get the feedback message though.

Try BMS reset
Whats that?

BMS...battery management system. Do a search for the procedure. Good luck!

If you do a BMS reset, let us know if it worked or not. I may try it on my next day off.

I did not do the BMS reset during my first battery (when creating this thread), but I did do it during my second battery after getting 12.3 volt reading every morning. The very next morning after doing the BMS reset I got a 12.6v.......and slowly dropped to 12.3v again each day. I pulled fuse 11 (telematics) and I'm still getting 12.3v each morning. The difference after pulling the telematics is it hasn't drop to 12.2's voltage like it did during my first battery.

I'll have to wait until around April this year to find out if it will last longer than my first battery.
