When I stop the truck in a quiet place and open driverside door I hear a faint buzzing sound. At first I though it was an open door warning, but it is so faint, it would not be recognized. Next thought it might be a motor or servo winding down. Anyone else? Any thoughts?

I have a XLT. Are you talking about when you unlock the vehicle and open the driver side door? In my garage as soon as I open the driver side door. I hear a sound kind of like a fuel pump cycling. But sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment. Does it every time I open the driver side door figured it's normal.

My XLT Hybrid has something I'd describe similarly, and it's different than the "whirring" sound that hybrids are known for (I hear that too, but it's a distinct secondary sound.) I'll hear it in Park usually after a drive and it stops when the key is turned to Off. Not sure what it is, but not concerned unless it gets louder or triggers a dashboard light.
