Vehicle status - in production for over a month?

Hey gang! I was one of the first to order here in San Jose I think! My status looks like this, and my estimated dealership delivery used to say 10/22/2021 but has become tbd for a while now.

I ordered an XLT Hybrid. Anyone have any idea what this means?

All of us are in the same situation. My hybrid shows in production since 9/29. With delivery TBD. Waiting for Ford to give the ok to buy and release our trucks for shipping. Word on the street is waiting for EPA emissions to be certified.

It means your hybrid won’t be shipped until 12/8 at the earliest. It’s likely already built but waiting with every other hybrid to be approved to sell.

Maybe you missed the big Ford hybrid update a couple weeks ago?

Maverick Hybrid is expected to start shipping in December with the first customer deliveries expected in January 2022 so required state and federal emissions certification can be completed.

Like others said, your hybrid is built, the tracker won’t update until Ford gets the final EPA testing data of some kind (emissions now?), expected in December, and then they start shipping them.
