Username Meaning ?!?!

I thought it would be interesting/fun to see why different user names were picked. Mine is not very original because it’s just that my first name is Rick and it’s of course in Maverick.

How about you all?

In my earlier life I was a police officer. I had an extension on my holster that lowered it. Because of the look it was said that I would shoot from the hip and start ed calling me "Hipshot".

I am the guy who ALWAYS has music on. Grew up with music always playing in our home and it has stuck.
Bass= fish
I love to fish for Bass. Grew up chasing the steelies but Bass really hit me in a different way. Fished tournaments and club events.
And I love being out and on the water. Early or late as mother nature shows her best. And peacefulness. Sometimes I play music and sometimes I just listen to the winds.

The picture I chose was my brother's show car that was bought new in 1931 by my dad. I spent more than a few hours keeping it drivable. My brother died a 364 days ago.

Tech - Technology, Tinkering, Internet of Things, etc...
Garten - Garden, I'm an avid gardener, terrestrial and aquatic

I slapped two of these decals on my black fishing boat years back. The marina guy started to call me Fossil, stuck. It's been my handle on 3 other forums without any number suffixes. Easy peazy.

I was a union ironworker for 35 years here in Portland, Oregon. I worked on several high-rises , office buildings, and hospitals all over the northwest and California. I also was a drummer in bands for 40+ years. When people were introducing the members of the band, I would always get introduced as Iron Mike, so it just kind of stuck.

I’m a car nut - there are so many brands and styles that I love. We bought a PT Cruiser in 2000. And, I’m still a fan of the convertibles. My initials are TP. So, PT Cruiser evolved into TPcroozer…. My current license plate on the Maverick that has migrated through the last dozen vehicles is CROOZIN.

Way back in the day (early days of the Internet)I used a bunch of random things (spaceace comes to mind - huge kiss fan). Had a professor in college suggest I should get something more professional. Now, it's my initials and the lucky number 13. Use it for email and most forums.
