Got back into Model Railroading after my divorce (1988).
Created a Railway of my own and chose a name that would be unique and include one of my favorite interests.

My username pretty much popped up randomly while I was creating a profile for a forum and I've pretty much stuck with it since then (around 2015?).

A small breakdown:
- Tom is my nickname
- 201326 was a random number that popped up in my head

It's kind of funny thinking about it, especially when people speculate that 201326 is my birthday

I slapped two of these decals on my black fishing boat years back. The marina guy started to call me Fossil, stuck. It's been my handle on 3 other forums without any number suffixes. Easy peazy.

I thought it would be interesting/fun to see why different user names were picked. Mine is not very original because it’s just that my first name is Rick and it’s of course in Maverick.

Whenever I went to a club or anyplace people would ask me “How’s it going with you Jimmy” and I would reply “It’s all good in Jimmyland” and li and behold the nickname stuck to this very day!

Were you stationed at Whiteman AFB by chance? I lived in Warrensburg MO for awhile and was always fascinated with the bombers and A-10s. Loved the air shows!

I always thought you were conveying you were shall we say a bit older or a big oil guy! I figured out from some of your posts it wasn't the latter
