Fuel Symbol Icon Meaning

There is now a circle with a line through it beside the fuel tank symbol for mpg on my 24 hybrid. Did a search and on other fords it seems to mean average but one post on this forum indicates you are only running on electric. If that’s true, it shouldn’t be on all the time like it is on mine. Can anyone clarify? Thank you!

I figured it out. Spent time going thru the screen and the configure view. Indeed it means average.
