With 32K miles on the factory Michelins, I will likely be looking for replacements later this year. If anyone has upsized their tires, I would be interested in size, model and your thoughts on road noise, performance, any rubs, etc.

All the tire options on all the models have approximately the same tire circumference. When you get the larger rims, they put lower-profile tires on. So if you want a wider tire, just go lower profile and you won't have an issue. Just expect a bit harsher ride on the lower profile tires with less sidewall to flex. Lots of people have put 235s on the 18" rim, and is is claimed that some 245s will also fit. The knobby and square AT tires will rub for sure at full lock, but the ST and similar SUV ones should be ok. However at 245 width on only a 7" rim width, the tire will not wear correctly and the lower amount of rubber in hard contact with the road means that you will not stop as well either.

I went with 245/60-18. nitto’s they are the exact same outer diameter as the stock 18 inch Michelins so zero impact to speedometer. I got them on sale. But the difference is noticeable. IMHO this should be the stock size..

Honest question. What part of the tread would you expect to not wear correctly?

I would expect that the edges are no flat on the road and that the middle will be overpressure on it. That will make the centre wear out faster, and do some unexpected things in cornering. How fast it wears funny is going to depend upon your particular driving style, how soft the sidewalls are and how hard the tread laps are.

I wouldn't mind a little more sidewall for a little more cushioning and appearance. Maybe 235's.

Yours are about 29.5" outer diameter whereas the stock are about 28.5" outer diameter.

I'd probably go 235/60/18, 236/65/18, or 245/65/18 if I was replacing the OEM 18" tires.
I would not go any bigger than those because the tire size and weight start affecting the car too much, unless you care about looks a lot and are willing to sacrifice other driving characteristics.
None of those sizes will cause rubbing.

Something didn’t sit right with me when I saw your reply. I’m normally very detail oriented so for me to miss the tire size by that much had me concerned. As I was walking past the truck just now I realized I went with 245/55/18. ( I had originally said 245/60/18) at which point your numbers are accurate, however with the correct size now mentioned I will re-iterate my original claim. Exact same outer diameter. ;-).

255/55-18 looks like this with stock suspension. this tire height is the same as 235/65-17, and it's probably the tallest you can run safely on the various lowering spring options. (eibach, h&r, goodwin all similar drop.)
