Washed my Maverick and as I was drying the windshield, I found this part near the drivers side wiper. It did not look like it belong to the wiper assembly. I tried the wipers and they work ok. The part number of this unknown part is R66647-001 Rev A. Attached is 3 photos at various angles angles. If anyone can tell me what this part is I would appreciate it.

The part number doesn’t return any results on Ford website.

That looks like 3 different parts to me. The third part looks like a battery terminal cover, the first two I dont know. But seriously they dont look like the same part, is this a test? Am I the winner? Is this a proof of humanity post from a time traveler from the future sent back in time to see when AI took over and enslaved humanity? Does this have anything to do with the TechnoOrganic virus?

The number you are looking at is probably the engineering number, that is why it has a revision number attached. You would need a cross over master parts list to decode.

After doing a little research, I found out that part is a power cable terminal cover. There is a CSP 22B39 that fixes a No Start Condition. This CSP replaces a cable harness. The cover was not replaced. The technician laid the cover in the windshield well when replacing the harness and forgot to reinstall. I had this done last year. Everything is black so it is not noticeable. When I take it back for the next 2 recalls, I will have them reinstall the cover.

I glad you found what part it was.
Great researching.
What surprises me that the technician would lay the cover on the hood, when the battery is actually in the passenger compartment on the hybrids.
🤔

The cover goes under the hood at the other end of the battery cable
