Under hood Light installed photos

Got my LED underhood light installed today and took about 10 mins. It makes a big difference now that I can see when working under it and it's bright .

I know Ford is cutting back on cost so I did it for $10. Great improvement.

Hello, I got it on eBay. It's so easy to install only 2 wires. Red to battery and black to terminal on the pressure switch that comes with it. Here is a screenshot of the one I got. Good Luck

I keep a Nebo MYCRO headlamp in each vehicle for working on the vehicles. The light goes were it is needed and it does not use the vehicle's power (which may, of may not, be working). I can also use it when I'm helping another motorist who is having trouble or on walks around the neighborhood.

Hello, I got it on eBay. It's so easy to install only 2 wires. Red to battery and black to terminal on the pressure switch that comes with it. Here is a screenshot of the one I got. Good Luck

but wait, my Hybrid didn’t come with an engine cover. If it did, perhaps the dealer didn’t put it back up on my first oil change.
My question is are all eco boost Mavericks come with an engine cover?

Can you expand on your hook up?
You connected the red wire to your battery positive and the black wire to the pressure switch terminal. Can you expand on the pressure switch hook up details and positioning?
I assume this makes the hood light only come on when the hood is lifted up?
I see similar lights that have to be hooked up to the “car on” fuse, but I don’t like that idea.

None of the Mavericks come with an engine cover. All add-ons by our ingenious members.

Hello, yes it is on a pressure switch that you can install anywhere the hood will make contact to stop power to it. If you look at my previous 2 pictures in the 2nd one I installed mine on the edge of the driver's side fender in an open hole . Also just 2 wires, 1 battery and 1 to the switch. It has a built in fuse also. Very simple to do. Got it from eBay . Good Luck
