I'd say those folks are old, stubborn,
set in their ways, and are afraid of change.
I'm really surprised they're using a computer. Notice I said computer instead of phone.
It's s astounding the number of folks that will take a picture on a phone, but yet downloaded to their computer in order to post it here on the forum

Is it not repairable? Some good shrink tube butt splices and good as new?

Unfortunately not. Long story but the kids got ahold of it before I could get back to pick it up. They smashed the longer part and the pins were broken off.

Let me look, but I believe I have taillight wiring harness from a 22 Ecoboost in the shed that might help you out? I was at the dealership and they had a maverick with broken taillight, were pitching it and I snatched it just for the bulbs

That's the longer grey piece the kids tore up. I really appreciate the offer but my sister found 3 of them in a U Pull location early this morning. She's the gear head of the family, lol.
