Unable to delete hitch from order

Today I called my dealer to attempt to remove the standalone hitch since it has recently shown up as a constraint.
When we tried to delete it showed that the vehicle "was locked" and change would not accept. I wonder if anyone knows what that means...hopefully something good? XL hybrid, hitch and full spare priority code 11

Locked means it’s being reviewed for scheduling or has been scheduled.

It’s nearly impossible to get things changed once it is scheduled.

When ur vehicle gets scheduled u can't change anything... Or if it is previewing for scheduling ( means it is a vehicle that they are looking at that week to possibly get scheduled) I believe u can't change anything.. If it gets kicked back from previewing and not scheduled then u can prob make a change...

If your build is getting scheduled, better to not remove the hitch.

The Chat feature on the Ford website (contact us) works just fine for status updates and I always get an answer when I've used it. Not saying the info is 100% accurate but no worse that the Marketing Customer Service calls.
