On the lift today finally getting the oil changed after 1672 miles. Looking underneath the truck I notice the weld where the exhaust pipe is welded to the muffler is leaking. Started it up to confirm. Yep, bad weld.

Gonna do the recall and have the dealer look at the exhaust while there. I assume this should be covered.

I wonder if I can talk Ford into a Cat Back system.

If your leak is adjacent to the weep hole at the rear of the muffler you might get some push back, stand firm, make them show you.
