Ha Ha ya so when its said and done .... Whats a new truck going to cost ? The percent of the total settlement added to the cost of the truck. You thought they were expensive before just wait . Mavs are popular because they were cheap ... that may be history soon................

I dont watch sports, therefore I dont contribute to that problem. My hobbies involve restoring antique Chrysler cars, G scale model trains and playing with HO scale slot cars.

Sports are nothing but a diversion tactic that the government uses to their advantage. The Romans did it as well. The Huns are bashing down the gates, oh it's all good, just go to the games, be happy, be well, watch the Christians get eaten by lions. Nothing to see here.
Nice Hobbies! used to love slot racing in the late 60s early 70s it made a bref comeback in the 90s. but 1/24 scale. I do have an old Aurora set that I play with time to time. In the 70s they actually had pro slot racers

Aurora AFX is still around. It's now Tomy AFX. I built this 4 lane track out of TOMY AFX track, soldered the rail ends, and glued the track seams together to make it like a 1 piece routed track. Power feeds are underneath the table. Lap counter is a Trakmate freeware program on windows 95.

Autoworld repops the old 3 gear AFX and Aurora thunderjet chassis. They are ok, and with a bunch of work you can make them run and handle pretty good. The Tomy AFX SRT chassis are really fast out of the box, and handle great. The body clips they use are the same as the 1970s AFX which is pretty cool.

My track is wired for 3 wire Parma international controllers with dynamic braking. Each lane has it's own seperate 28V transformer. The timing gantry on the right in the first pic uses IR emitters and collectors wired into the computer for the timing beams.

Buildings are cardstock glue together kits I found on evilbay. A lot of work went into building this thing. It hinges and folds up against the garage wall so I can park my truck in the garage

Wow very nice! Wish I has the room. Always found HO not to handle as well as 1/24. Some of those cars were so fast its a blur. Autoworld was in Sranton PA was there a few times surprised still around. I belive Parma was a slot track out in the Midwest then started to make their own stuff. Took me a bit to be able to use their controllers as I am missing my right index finger. Always liked the MRC thumbs type. Still a cpl tracks out here in NJ but nothing serious mostly in bad shape used for kids bday parties. I would make my own chassis soldering brass rod and piano wire at about 8 yo. Rewind motors etc. The hobby taught me skills I used through adulthood. Thanks for the pics.

This is why it folds up on the wall of my garage, and is on a 4x8 homebuilt platform. Pull my truck out of the garage, and I can fold it out to use it. My brother and I used to frequent the big 10 and 12 lane tracks. We ran 1/32 scale Parma flexi cars

I work a 10 hour day 8 day shift and get 6 days off. That 8 days gets a little rough the last 2 days, but that 6 days off is sure great. When I take 8 days off for vacation, and book end it with 6 weekend days on either end it's pretty great. 20 days off in a row lol.
So I worked 14 years on the road living in motels occasionally having to spend a night in a second motel because I did not have time to return that day. Worked 19 - 7 to 14 hour days straight then got 2 days off. Could ask for extension of two days without pay for indefinite time but would have to ask for new assignment when I was ready with no guarantee when I would get one. Pay was more or less ok but main advantage was I had no time to spend it so it seemed like more than it really was. Stayed in one motel for 14 months not checking out since the weekly rate was cheaper and if rented for 30days straight it's considered an apartment and room tax is not collected (depending on area can be 12-20%). Got nearly 60 days off after 14 month gig. Sometimes would get 10-12 days Xmas new years off without pay of course.

Forcing empty housing to be used. I'd love to see em try that one. If I had a summer bungalow and the Gubmint tried to force me to put homeless in it, I'd sell the damn thing first. I have seen first hand what renters do to homes, much less squatters. The amount of lawsuits that would abound from that would be epic.

Now about the food getting thrown away that could be still consumed, that right there is a sin. Its unbelievable what restaurants and supermarkets toss in the trash daily that could be donated. A lot of that also has to do with protecting themselves from lawsuits as well.
Don't forget the farmer that had to destroy his crop in several hundred acres because illegals cut his fences and short cut through his fields. The crop was considered contaminated.

Honda Motor is giving many U.S. factory workers a 11% pay bump and making other improvements for these employees, a move that follows major gains secured by the United Auto Workers union in Detroit last month.

The base wage increase is effective in January, according to a memo reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. The Japanese automaker is also cutting the time it takes to reach the top wage in half from six to three years, a change that is similar to one won by the UAW in its negotiations with General Motors, Ford Motor and Chrysler-parent Stellantis.

A Honda spokesperson confirmed the details of the memo Friday. He declined to say how much production employees earn currently.
