Type of belt tensioner?

Hello,

Does anyone know what type of belt tensioner the 2.0 l ecoboost uses and where it is located? The serpentine belt fell off the morning and I’m trying to put it back so i can drive to the dealership. I’m still learning when it comes to working on cars so any info would be helpful.

There's usually a belt diagram on the radiator support for most vehicles, but if not, look in the owners manual.

I believe the main belt is a normal spring tension style belt shouldn't just fall of though did a pulley fall or a bearing on one fail. A second thing to look at the AC compressor belt is a separate stretch belt style did it get ripped off also

Thanks for the response. I have this video of the belt slipping off if that’s helpful. I’ll take another look and check the AC compressor belt.

It was a new noise and I wanted to document it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I was surprised I actually got the belt coming off on video lol
