To turn off the location tracking feature in your 2024 Ford Maverick, you can disable the "Share Vehicle Data" setting within the vehicle's infotainment screen,
I would normally show you but I've already pulled fuse number 11/12.

Only thing I'm aware of is pull Fuse# 11, fuse panel passenger footwell area. That completely disconnects the phone home at&t cellular modem.

Indeed you can. It depends on your trim level. Either way, it's in your manual.

Owners manual seems to gloss over that.
Easier to hunt thru the infotainment screen menus.
I think it's like: Settings>FordPass Connect>Connectivity Settings

For some reason the 1 at the end of the link failed to be included.
So going to link goes to page 2.
One would have to manually go to page 1 to see the screen shot and instructions.
That's just too much work!

CONNECTED VEHICLE SETTINGS

You can adjust several settings on the touchscreen under the connected vehicle features menu, such as:

• Vehicle connectivity.
• Share vehicle data.
• Share vehicle location.
• Share driving data.

Note: Depending on your vehicle, different options may be available.
Note: Editing connectivity settings could result in some features not operating correctly or at all. When you edit connectivity settings, pop-up messages may appear to notify you that services will not work without that setting. If you switch a feature on, pop-up messages could appear informing you of the settings that will be turned on. Some features, for example driver assistance features, use map data. We recommend having all connected vehicle settings enabled to allow the map content to be updated to the latest version.

Press the button next to a menu option for more information.

Mine doesn't show the 4th one. I wonder if that means they're sending it anyway ?

You should at least once enable and get the wifi connected, then check for updates and get the one that probably is around.

The rear view camera recall probably has it too.

I somewhat understand why some might want to disable the tracking but you’ll be tracked if you also have a phone, a GPS a iPad a smart watch, etc - it’s difficult to get completely off the grid if you use any technology

I agree 100%, I just want to keep the option open.
