I took my '22 EB FWD with 47,300 miles into the dealer 8 work days ago. It has had lightweight 17" Motegi Battle wheels since 500 miles and it was lowered with Eibach springs 15 months ago. They did the new axle swaps on a Wednesday and here it is the following Friday and my truck is still down and out. When I initially test drove it after getting it back that same Wednesday, I could feel the sturdiness of the new axles, the steering was solid and improved. After driving a mile to the gas station, grinding noises and a light show on my dash started happening. Even the app was going off. Was told the next day that the ABS ring went bad on the driver's side and that the wheel bearings went bad on the passenger side. They ordered the parts and have been really trying to figure it out (the Ford app sends me the same failures notices again, at least once a day each day, and they have test driven it for 30-40 miles based on the gas level), but they are stumped. No resolution yet. I'm losing hope that it will be repaired, even feeling unsure of it's safety with how long it's been. Do you think this will escalate to a vehicle replacement? I really like my little truck, but I don't want to be worried about being on the highway going 65-75 mph and something locking up and running off the road...it's been a bummer.

Still a bit soon. Though if it continues, I would hope Ford offers a buyback. Especially if they can’t figure out what’s causing it. That’s a pretty egregious list of things going wrong.

Quick update: got my car back on Friday. They delivered it to me which was a plus for customer service. Today test drove it with a 20 miles trip to Costco and noticeably much better. No more vibration when accelerating and smooth as butter. Dropped off on Tuesday morning and by Thursday they finally got to order the part for Friday due to their suspension department had too many work orders. Overall I’m happy to get my Maverick back in my garage.
