Trip to the Redwoods! (1,500 miles total)

I've done your trip south-->north but before I had my Mav. Redwoods are amazing. Oregon coast, Humbug State Park and Bandon OR and the Dunes are are inspiring for their simple beauty. You inspired me to put it on my re-do list. And the EB 2.0 is a great engine both with respect to mpg and performance.

The Redwoods are indeed amazing. I really enjoyed my time on the Oregon coast as well! My family used to take summer vacations to Cannon Beach, further north from Humbug State Park, but it was so cool to explore the southwestern coast in Oregon. I definitely want to go back.

Good guess! This color is Azure Grey. I believe Ford discontinued the Area 51 color for '25 Mavericks.

I think they discontinued the Area 51 color before 2025 maybe 2023 or 2024 maybe someone else knows?

Totally worth the trip!! The Newton B Drury Parkway (just off Highway 101) is an enchanted place. It's a 10-mile road with hikes at every corner. One of the best spots in the Redwoods!

yes, I've been on it and those trails dozens of times.
There's a newish trail that comes down from Lady Bird Johnson to 101, and then goes along 101 to connect to Lost Man Creek. I haven't done that one.
Starting at the campground at Prairie Creek, you can do an excellent loop of Davison Trail, Streelow Creek Trail, and then along Davison road to Miner's Ridge Trail going back to Prairie Creek. I run this, it might take a long time to walk it.
Something a lot of people miss or don't expect; the Trees Of Mystery has one of the most extensive collections of Native American artifacts anywhere. And the museum is free.

Wow it’s still there? It was already in a state of disrepair in the 1970’s. I’m surprised it has survived this long.
