Drove the maverick up to Virginia from central Florida almost exclusively on I95. Not making any effort to get great mileage, just driving it like I would my other cars. I don't drive excessively fast, but will regularly set cruise at 75. So far I'm 800 miles in. It's just me in the truck so no excessive weight being carried or anything. According to the trip computer I'm doing 40.1 mpg. I've noticed it's optimistic by about 1.5 mpg vs hand calcs. So realistically it's probably getting between 38.5 and 39 mpg. Very pleased with those results.

That is great news!

I have a 40mile commute which includes a 2500 mountain climb. I am averaging 45mpg with cruise set to 60mph on my 80 mile round trip (ECO Mode on).

Great numbers and that downhill does not hurt. You nailed it with 60 mph. My sweet spot on the interstate seems to be 69-72. I consistently get 42-43 at that level.

My return trip wasnt so hot. Got 36.5 on the first 400 miles, and only 33.5 on the second 400 miles. The first portion I was running between 70 and 75, and the second half between 75 and 80. As expected that really kills the mileage. The trip computer overall read 38.7 mpg, so that likely closer to 36 give or take. It did seem to do worse on the trip home in similar conditions. It was a little warmer out, but within 5-10 degrees. The terrain was still flat as I so took the same route. I still can't complain since it met or beat the EPA estimates. And it's better than my jeeps 20 mpg highway mileage.
