My bad. Common mistake! While it's definitely a four-cylinder, the Ford Maverick Hybrid actually uses an I4 (Inline-4) engine, not a V4.The Hybrid is a V4?![]()

Wow you pushed the Limits.... Im Running 255/65/17s and I thought I had pushed it. I have no rubbing at all on the streets either. Havnt offroaded thoughNope, no lift, no cutting.....with factory tremor suspension. Only had slight contact near full turn between tire and fender liner(front only). So, with tire removed I used a heat gun, heated the fender liner and moved it 3/4 " back away from tire in that one spot on both sides by pressing on very hot plastic with a 2x4. Worked wonderfully.
The guard is hopefully going to offer a bit of protection from hogs & deer. It also gave me a mounting point for additional lights (below headlight level) as required by Tx DPS to be qualified as "fog" lights.Love everything but the guard. The front asthetic is totally blocked. Do you have any picture without it mounted?
Understood. It's really a show stopper for sure. The guard is hopefully going to offer a bit of protection from hogs & deer. It also gave me a mounting point for additional lights (below headlight level) as required by Tx DPS to be qualified as "fog" lights.
As I said in my prior posts. I built it for my vision. Functional to me.
(RE: without) No additional pictures as it went directly from the dealer to the customizing shop on a flatbed wrecker. As they were preparing the truck for paint, I was welding. So, truck was complete when it left their shop.
Don't know about show stopper, but she is dressed up to go out on the town...at least that what my wife says...Understood. It's really a show stopper for sure.
I'm going to remain patient and optimistic that Ford Performance will support the 2026 soon. I've had my 2026 Tremor for a little over 2 weeks. All right ya'll ...I'm growing very tired of the vague responses I'm obtaining from Ford Performance concerning the 300T upgrade kit.
Looks Clean.Looks good this is my 22 xl![]()
I'm a big fan of shadow black, here in Pennsylvania with cloth seat and shade from the trees black is no problem, snow, ice and salt are just part of winter. Being retired i enjoy doing mods and hand washing my trucks.Looks Clean...In Texas (sun and heat load) I just would never try Black on a daily driver here. This is the first time I've ever owned a blue vehicle. I'd really hate to see your maverick in the winter caked with snow and ice...and afterwards the salt residue. You have done a wonderful job of keeping it clean!
What are the vague responses? I havnt heard anything since the made such a big deal about it at the show in December. Ford has the Turbo and the Intercooler already. Just needs the tune. They said early 2026 we are in May. Anything news is better than going silent? All right ya'll ...I'm growing very tired of the vague responses I'm obtaining from Ford Performance concerning the 300T upgrade kit. So...I'm ready to move to the aftermarket. I don't want to rip the guts out of my gearbox (yeah I know transaxle...) but I would like to wake up my little 2.0. Recommendations? Willing to ship my Tremor via flatbed to very reputable custom tune/performance shop. Just want solid recommendations. (Dont want my little toy butchered...). I've put about 4k breakin miles on it now and on its second royal purple oil change as of yesterday. (...and no...don't coach me on oils, we are not going there...).
Dont hold your breath. Ford gets you all excited about it and that its coming soon, and the crickets chirping.I'm going to remain patient and optimistic that Ford Performance will support the 2026 soon. I've had my 2026 Tremor for a little over 2 weeks.
I had the performance tune from Ford on my Ranger and it was night and day with the torque it added - while not voiding the warranty.
Here's hoping!
