Makes my case even more.
And you get a lot more truck for the same $.

I love the small form factor but for similar money would buy the Ranger or Colorado any day. Tacoma is solid at that price as well.

The Mav's sweet spot is $30k-$35k (loaded) or thereabouts.

Brand new 2025 Ranger XLT with tech/tow package, ACC, and electronic locking rear is ~$44k new
No 4A and that’s a no for me. I very much enjoy the AWD aspect of the Maverick.

If and when I tow more regularly I will look to a Ranger.

I ended up at $38k for a 2025 lariat 4K hybrid w/sunroof. I looked for any other vehicle that would give me the utility, efficiency, payload capacity, towing capacity, and features of the Lariat and there was nothing at $38k or close to it that fit the bill.

The closest thing that could touch it on utility and features for price while being better for towing/payload and much worse for efficiency was Nissan frontier. I drove it and I didn’t like it at all. Nice truck but not for me and especially not with the abysmal efficiency.

I understand that but you're not comparing apples to apples. The post was about the Tremor for $45k. Which personally I believe the Ranger I listed above was a better deal if you're already buying the Maverick Tremor.

Yep - to each their own but the lack of 4A on the XLT Ranger makes it tough for me when it is a feature I like and use in the Ohio winters and Carolina mountains.
